Second test shoot of the summer went very well. I’m really happy with the results! I met Damian about a year ago through a mutual friend and we talked about doing a shoot together, but we never made it happen. I’m kinda glad we waited though. As I look back at what I was trying to accomplish photographically a year ago, and then compared it to what I’m trying to do now … we both lucked out this time. Not to mention that Damian didn’t have those rad white suspenders a year ago.

I kinda miss doing shoots like this. I showed up at Damian’s house, we picked out a few looks, then headed over to the location with no assistant, no hairstylist, no makeup artist, and absolutely no plan as to what the concept was or anything. It reminded me of when I was in school. We sweated like crazy and got eaten alive by mosquitos. I’d say it was a good shoot.
