Did my 3rd test shoot this summer. This time it was with Courtney. You may recognize her from my portfolio, she’s in there a few times. I knew what I wanted to shoot for this, and I knew she would be perfect for it. I thought that I would have trouble finding a model since it involved a little bit of nudity, but I just had to ask Courtney to do it 1. because I thought she would be great and 2. she’s an artist, and I had this odd notion that she would be ok with the nudity because of her background in art. I was right! And the shoot went beautifully. What would I have done if I was wrong? Not sure, but I wouldn’t have been able to produce this shoots, that’s for certain. Here’s a bit of trivia for you, Courtney and I first met when we worked together at Starbucks a long, long time ago. We have both since moved on.

Robin Johnson is responsible for the beautiful hair and makeup, and she even drove for over an hour to get to the location. I was really excited when everything fell into place and I was able to have her on a day that everyone else was available. She can work some miracles with hair and makeup … not saying that courtney needed a miracle, she’s already as pretty as can be ;) just saying that Robin is good!
